I feel horrible ! We are family and we are not staying close. Life is far too short to allow this to happen.
Betty Anne was a treasure! My love and heart felt thoughts are with you, Charlie, Helena, and Robert as you struggle to accept Betty Anne’s death. My prayers are with you!
Our deepest condolences to Charlie, Helena, Robert and family. I knew Betty and her family growing up. I was there when they lost their beloved mother. Then life kicked in and I lost touch. But I never forgot!
There will always be the memories of Betty etched in our hearts and know that she will there to greet us in heaven above when our tomorrow comes. May your happy memories give you peace and comfort at this challenging time and know that she is now in the arms of the Angels. God Bless!

Very sad news . My sincere condolences to the House Family. I first met Betty in the late 90s working on an aquaculture project. We kept up ever since - including catching up over a beer at the AAC meeting in St. John's last summer. Betty always had a smile and a super positive attitude. A great champion for Canadian Aquaculture. She will be missed by many.
My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the House family. From our early days in aquaculture starting in Bay D'Espoir during the mid-90's and onward toward the mutual friendship Betty Anne and Shelley developed in NB over near 20 years, it seems either as a colleague or a friend that we had something in common. Betty was a good friend and certainly well respected by all her colleagues and associates in the fish farming world. May you rest in peace.
The news of Betty's passing was deeply saddening. She will be sorely missed by those who were lucky enough to have known her. She was so exuberant, always had a smile and positive presence about her. My sincere condolences to Betty's family.
Our deepest sympathies to Betty's family and friends. We thoroughly enjoyed Betty's passion for aquaculture as well as the enthusiastic support she provided our organization. She will be missed.

To Charlie, Helena, Robert and family,
Sending heartfelt condolences. We have fond memories of spending time together with you and Betty during our summer visits to the Crossing, your visits to Aguathuna, and those windswept afternoons at Black Bank. Betty was thoughtful, intuitive and game for anything. We shared so many happy memories during her time in New Brunswick. We loved visiting her in St. Andrew’s for dinners, concerts and the annual town garage sale, and she always made time to visit us in Fredericton. We will forever remember her strength, that smile and her fashion sense.
Our sincere condolences to Charlie, Helena, Rob and family. Cousin Betty played such a big part in our lives when she lived here in NB. Her dry wit, love of family, and fondness for chocolate made for such lovely weekend visits. We all loved Betty, but Dad (Jerome House) adored her. Betty was always thoughtful and generous - never missing a birthday or special event. She went out of her way to make special connections and we are so thankful for all the lovely books and treats she gifted Mason. She was so proud to be a Newfoundlander, and her eyes light up with love and pride when she spoke about the “Boys”.
We will miss her,
Jon, Mason and Carole (House) Sherrard
My deepest condolences to Betty's family and friends. I really enjoyed talking with Betty about aquaculture and matters of the Aquaculture Association of Canada. Her smile, intelligent eyes, wit and common sense were always leading to interesting and stimulating discussions. Betty, gone too soon, but we will remember you. Rest in peace...
My sincere condolences to Charlie, Helena, Robert and other family members on Betty-Anne’s passing. I came to St Michael’s Elementary, as principal, just a few months after her Mom’s passing. She was ever grounded, kind and hard working, a memorable student and person! Know that she will be in my thoughts and prayers. Through the Mercy of God, May she Rest In Peace.
To Betty's family,
I have never met Betty in person, but we have chatted on the phone. She was a close friend of my brother and sister in law, Cory and Shelley Taylor, who also resided in Bay D'espoir and New Brunswick. Shelley and Betty became fast friends. There were not too many Friday evenings they missed dining out together. Shelley passed in 2019, and I am positive she was waiting to greet her dear friend in heaven. Rest easy Betty, you too have earned your angel wings.

My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Betty’s family and friends. I had the pleasure of working with Betty very early on in our careers and felt we grew up together in this wonderful aquaculture world. The work Betty led and participated in changed the face of the aquaculture sector and her contributions will never be forgotten. I will miss our chats and all the fun times we had while travelling together. Rest in peace dear Betty; you fought an amazing fight ❤️
My heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to Betty's direct and extended family. We have lost, only too soon, a highly respected colleague and most importantly I have lost a great friend. Betty always had a smile and only saw the world through a positive lens. At no point in her trials did I ever hear Betty complain but instead there was always that smile and a chuckle. I will miss our chats Betty and shed a tear at our loss!! You are now in the hands of the Almighty Comforter.
I was so sorry to hear of Betty's passing ... too young to lose someone who gave so much to her family, community and aquaculture. I will certainly miss reconnecting with her at various aquaculture events. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
Sending heartfelt condolences to Betty's friends and family on behalf of the Board, staff, and members of the Aquaculture Association of Nova Scotia. Betty was known to many in Nova Scotia's aquaculture community, and respected by all who knew her. Her knowledge, contributions and smiling face will be greatly missed. May your happy memories give you peace and comfort during this challenging time.
My deepest condolences to Betty's family and friends. I had the privilege of working with her both in her capacity at the Atlantic Canada Fish Farmers Association and the Aquaculture Association of Canada. Betty was a class act through and through and was an invaluable contributor to those who worked with her. She will be dearly missed.
Dear Charlie, Helena, Robert and families,
We are deeply sorry to hear of Betty Ann’s passing. She has gone too soon but has achieved so much in her fifty five years of life.Betty Ann, like her sister and brother, was a gifted student, a treasure to have in the classroom for any teacher. Charlie did a remarkable job bringing up his children. They were ambitious, respectful, kind to others, and a pleasure to be around. With these qualities Betty Ann grew to be a loving woman, enjoying much success in her career and the love of family and friends.
We have fond memories of her spending time with her grandparents Leonard and Ellie, especially after her mother Mary passed away when they were quite young. Sitting in church you could see the mutual love she and her grandmother felt for each other. There was always a liveliness and happy energy in Betty Ann when we met and chatted after she left home and returned for visits.
May you all find peace and comfort in your memories, and may her spirit live on in all she has shared with you, the joy, laughter and little things which make a lasting impression. Wishing God’s peace on Betty Ann and all of you. God bless!

Charlie,Helena, Robert and families I was deeply saddened to hear of Betty Anns passing. She was a beautiful young lady who gave so much to this world. Her infectious smile, positive attitude and warmth made one feel so comfortable in her presence. She loved life, friends and most of all family. She was an exceptional person who enjoyed her career and those with whom she worked. I certainly enjoyed the few times we met discussing her career, her family and the good old days at Assumption High. Betty Ann has given more to this world than she has taken. The world has been a better place because of her presence. Even though her life was short she set a wonderful example for us to follow. Charlie, Helena, Robert and family, sincerest condolences on the passing of Betty Anne, a beautiful child, teen, and lady who was so much like her mother...loved by all who knew her. My heart goes out to you all during this sad time. Your memories of Betty Anne will give you so much happiness and the memories will be numerous. I will keep you in my prayers. Rest in peace Betty Anne, you are in God's care now.
As a child the highlight of my summer was the times when our cousins (and my godfather) would come to visit us at our grand-mother’s house in Aguathuna. It’s been many years since I have been back to Newfoundland or seen Charlie, Robert and Helena but my children were fortunate enough to meet “cousin Betty” in St. Andrew’s (pre-Covid times). She was taken way too early. I am heartbroken at your loss.
The Mac Farlane Family, Rick, Louise, Christine, Kim and Eon express their deepest sympathies for the loss of Betty. She was a great gal and is missed. We spent 17years together and some time with friends, also, afterwards, great souvenir and memories will remain with us. Her love for our lab Caisie was unsurpassable. Now delivered form her pain, she shall rest in peace. Taken too soon…
Thinking of Charlie, Halena, Robert and Family. Sending strength and prayers for the days ahead... Rest easy Betty
