Obituary of Allan Brian Champion
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Allen (Al) Champion announce his passing at Lakeridge Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Al retired from GM in 2012. When he wasn’t working he could be found making furniture, sitting under his favourite tree or enjoying a movie.
Al was a kind and loving partner to Georgina and a loving and doting father to his children and grandchildren. Al was a quiet man who kept to himself, but also enjoyed a good party with his closest family and friends.
Al was predeceased by his parents Sarah and Frederick Champion; brother James Champion; parents-in-law Francis and Scott Dwyer; brothers-in-law Mike and Pat. He is survived by his partner Georgina Dwyer; daughters Traci-Lynn, Trina, Janis, honorary daughter Leanne; sons Richard (Karina), Mark, Trevor (Ashley), Jason (Tamara); grandchildren Scarlett, Alexys, Rayne, Aurora, Moss; special granddaughter Caitlyn; brothers William (Annie), Gerald (Faith); sisters Ernestine (Lloyd), Judy (Jack); In laws Rosalind (Tony), Jocelyn, Lois (Norman), Marlene, Todd (Carolanne), Margaret, Judy; nephew, nieces, cousins and a large circle of friends.
