
Obituary of Norman Harry Healey
Passed away on September 18, 2022 Norman Harry Healey at the Central NL Regional Health Center at the age of 78 years. Norm worked most of his life as a heavy duty operator. Mr. Healey retired from public works depot in Grand Falls-Windsor in 2012. He was a member of the Windsor Fire Department and dart league for many years. Norm loved fishing, hunting, darts, wrestling, watching western movies and spending time at his cabin/trailer. Tuff (Norm) struggled to find happiness when he lost his wife Joan in 2008 and it wasn’t until he met Dolly in 2010, that he found happiness once again. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan (Mills) Healey; parents, Maude and Stephen Healey and son, Robert (Robbie) Healey; brother, Fred; sisters: Diane and Olive. He leaves to mourn his partner Idella (Dolly) Lane; sons: Norman Jr. (Denise) Healey, Rod (Kelly) Healey; daughters: Donna (Tom Dunphy) Healey, Karen McCarthy, Darlene (Leon) Kelly. He also leaves his grandchildren: Jeffrey, Tammy, Johnathan, April, Mark, Codi, Jamie, Janelle, Robyn, Christopher and Kayla along with 21 great-grandchildren; his sisters: Florence/Sis (Melvin) Hillier, Doreen Healey, Lynn Lewis and Sharon Healey; brothers: George (Val) Healey, Robert Healey and Terry (Lynn) Healey and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
