There are no words. Uncle Terry was one of a kind, always with a smile and a story to make you laugh. He never judged, never left you when you needed him. I loved spending time with him this summer listening to stories about dad, and his new found love. He was truly happy. Our last hug and “I love you” will be cherished forever

To the entire Laite family,
I met Terry under sad circumstances - after my dear Dad passed away last August, I spent a lot of time at the Windsor Pentecostal Cemetery where I met several folks who made those visits an opportunity for great conversation and camaraderie in loss. Terry was one of those lovely people.
He spoke so much of his love for family and friends.
I was so sad to hear of his passing and you will all be in my thoughts now in the coming days.
I could fill multiple books with memories of my Uncle Terry. He meant the world to me quite simply. He was constant in my life. He always made time for me-always there with words of love and encouragement and his famous hugs! His hugs could heal whatever you were going through-everything always just seemed right when he wrapped his arms around you.
Terry was a story teller as most of us know-that usually resulted in much laughter! He was a loving man-kind and gentle and he possessed a strength that was fuelled by the love of his family and friends.
The light of the Laite family grew a lot dimmer when he was called home-a piece of my heart shattered.
In the sadness of this tremendous loss of our beloved Terry; I’m going to honour him with my memories and make at least one person smile each day.
I love you Uncle Terry-thank you for all you taught me over the years-I will forever treasure memories made.
In the sweet by and by-we’ll meet again on that beautiful shore.
My angel brother in law Terry.
I know you have now spread your wings that although we couldn't see them, were always there.
The care and unconditional love he gave to my sister will forever be a testament of what true love looks like. Whenever I had a pleasure of watching Terry care for Reta, the love that he demonstrated could almost be touched.
The pearls of wisdom he spoke into my life during our phone calls will always be cherished. He had a way of lifting you up no matter what you were
going through. He never complained about what life had dealt him. He poured himself into those he loved and with admirable integrity, grinned and bore it.
Go rest high on that mountain Terry, your work on earth is done. You will be profoundly missed.
My sweet Uncle Terry
Although his love for horses was evident to all, the true love he showed for his wife (my Aunt Reta) during her final years of life was beyond admirable.
Uncle Terry always held a special place in my heart, but as such an example of pure, selfless, unconditional love Uncle Terry became a shining star in my eyes. He will forever be loved and remembered for the special man he was. Love you forever, my sweet Uncle
My heart goes out to family and friends of Uncle Terry… especially to my cousins Allan & Terrie-Lynn and their children.
