Obituary of Annie Marie Healey
With great sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Annie Marie Healey announces her passing on August 17th, 2022. Surrounded by the love of her family at her home, Annie peacefully passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Annie is predeceased by her parents Otto and Viola King, sisters Eileen King, Elizabeth Pryor and brother in law Jerry Pryor. Leaving to celebrate her life is her husband, Robert Healey, daughter Kim Healey (Tony), Kathy Snow (Darrin) and son Robert Healey Jr (Stephanie). Grandchildren Sarah (Devin) and Samantha Hedges, Daniel and Emma Snow, Bobby and Riley Healey, and great granddaughter Lexie. Brothers Don King (Carol), Eric King (Glenis), Terry King (Lori). Also close friend Cheryl Bourne and a large circle of friends and family.
Born and raised in Grand Falls-Windsor, Annie was a caring and loving individual. She loved spending time at her cabin with her husband Bob. Enjoying hunting and berry picking, and an occasional ‘fishing competition’ with her dear friend Cheryl. Annie was an excellent seamstress who could turn her hand at any handmade item - which she always made with love. She loved her husband and family as equally as they loved her. Taking great pride in her grandchildren and their accomplishments, she was always by their sides to support them in any way she could. Her newest addition to the family, her great granddaughter Lexie, whom she loved so much always brought a joyous smile to her face.
Annie’s loving and caring spirit will be remembered by those who loved her. She has touched the lives of many, and has inspired others with her strength, courage and hope. She will continue to be deeply loved and missed, and the endless memories she leaves behind will be cherished.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
