Obituary of Glenn Elliott

Please share a memory of Glenn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Glenn was born February 25th 1961 in Hampton, White Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador to Baxter and Claudine Elliott.

He is predeceased by his father Baxter Elliott Sr., his grandparents George and Elise Hynes, his baby sister Karen and his sister in law Cynthia Elliott.

He moved to Millertown at a young age where he grew up and attended school. When finished school, like most Newfoundlanders in those days, he left to pursue work in Fort McMurray. He stayed until he retired in 2016 where he moved back to Millertown to help keep his mom company.

Glenn volunteered around town and loved a game of darts at the firehall. He also enjoyed a scattered game of cards at home with mom and whomever else was around to play. A few laughs were always had during those games.

Glenn was an avid sports fan and was up on all current events going on and was eager to discuss them with anyone who would listen.

Glenn leaves to mourn his loving mother Claudine. His brothers Scott (Linda), Baxter Jr., Todd (Tammy), and Dion (Thea), his sister Joanne (Greg) his many nieces and nephews and an array of family and friends.

A celebration of life will take place at Millertown community church August 18th at 1 to 3pm.

The family wishes to extend thanks to all those who have reached out during this time, your kindness does not go unnoticed.
