Obituary of Madeline Joyce Vincent
With tremendous sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Madeline Joyce Vincent, surrounded
her with love as she passed away peacefully at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health
Centre on August 9, 2022. She was 88 years of age. She was predeceased by her loving husband
Ford and parents Harold and Louise Winsor. Leaving to mourn with fond and everlasting
memories are her Sons Boyd (Patricia) Vincent, Corey (Donna) Vincent, Daughters Dianne (Glen)
Winsor, Joanne (Keith) Roberts, Grandchildren Charlotte Winsor, Stephanie (Brad) Schildroth,
Melissa (Tyler) Vincent, Jason Vincent, as well as great-grandchildren Liam and Brielle. Also
leaving to mourn are brother Lorne (Mary) Winsor, sisters Joy (Ambrose) Roberts, Jean Roberts, and Kay Winsor, as well as, a large circle of family and friends who adored her.
Madeline was born and raised in Triton, NL and went on to marry the love of her life, Ford
Vincent. They moved to GFW where she devoted her life to creating a beautiful family and
home. She was a social butterfly who loved the company of family and friends; the more the
merrier. You would always be greeted with her angelic smile and gentle embrace, while the
sweet smell of homemade pie filled the air, made from her many adventures berry picking. Her
warm hospitality and welcoming nature was second to none. She would often proudly
reminisce of days gone by, telling stories of family trips around the island, get togethers where
love and laughter filled the room, that is what made her the happiest. She loved beyond
measure, selflessly caring for the happiness of others, always there to offer a helping hand and
deeply cared for everyone she met. She enjoyed life to the fullest and wanted to share every
precious moment with her family. Madeline had a way with people that left you no choice but
to love her because her heart was pure and you felt it. People were drawn to her because she
was the epitome of humbleness, kindness and humility. She was truly special to so many people
and will not only be greatly missed but has left an imprint on the hearts of all that knew her.
