While we grieve our loss here, we are comforted in the assurance of our reunion - just as your Dad is reunited with his friends and family in the presence of his Lord.

We were saddened for you as we heard about the passing of your Dad and Grandfather Pastor Pitcher.
However, at the same time we rejoice with you as we reflected on the truth of God’s Word, that promises, “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”
We will always appreciate Pastor Pitcher’s ministry and his firm commitment to his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He leaves with us today with a wonderful legacy of Christlikeness and one who have fought a good fight and kept the faith.
Please be assured of our thoughts and prayers at this time, praying that you may sense the presence, peace, and comfort of our Great Saviour, who have promised to “Never leave you or forsake you”
Hold fast to the many cherished memories, the great hope of Heaven and the promise that “the dead in Christ shall rise first and we who are alive and remain will be caught up to meet them in the clouds, to be with our Lord forever.”
Praying for you today

My thoughts and prayers are going out to the pitcher family,I worked as a homecare worker for Mr and Mrs Pitcher for a short period, until I moved to N.B.They were amazing people and we became very close, after his loving wife passed,he asked me if I would be the daughter he never had,,and I agreed,we kept in touch while I was away via phone.
I never met such a loving caring couple before, and he said he prayed for me always.God bless and love Mr.Pitcher,he is where he wanted to be now, with his loving wife.
God Bless,
Carol Nippard..
To the Pitcher family:
We will always remember our brother sharing in ministry with us in North West River many years ago. We appreciated his speaking during those meetings. Brother Pitcher had a ‘joyful’ disposition, which made it a pleasure to be around him.
Praying for you.

In our hearts there is such a deep, deep appreciation for the man whose life and legacy you celebrate today. We were honored to share our pulpit with him on several occasions and he always spoke into our lives whenever we met. To each of you who loved him, honour and miss him we send our thoughts and prayers. Truly it can be said of his life,
Only one life twill soon be passed and only what’s done for Christ will last, but if when I die Oh, how happy I would be, if the light of my candle burned out for thee.

With our condolences to: Ray, Ivan and 'Billy', and your extended families.
We share a common history and many blessings. Growing up together, going to school together, and being in church together has given us a strong heritage of Godly examples. The greatest blessings have been being raised and schooled in a Christian environment by loving, Christian parents.
We have much to be grateful for, as we face the challenges of our parents' move to heaven and our transition to living the remainder of our earthly lives, without them. May you experience God's peace and comfort as you take this journey.
Sincerely,
Claudette Boyd - daughter of Claude & Flora

My condolences to Bill , Ivan and Ray. Many good memories growing up with you guys on Earle St. Many meals and would be topped off with Moms famous raisin squares. Always remember the German Shepard dogs. Especially Tanya , who most of the neighbourhood were afraid of. Your parents were both great family friends and great tenants as well. God Bless all of you guys and your families. Barry E.
Ray, Ivan, Bill and families, so sorry to hear of your dad's passing, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Both your mom and dad were great friends with my family, and I have many fond memories from those years. I will always remember his words to me while standing beside my dad's body at the funeral home, he said every time he has to say goodbye to one of his friends this way, he gets a little more homesick, he looked at me and said my dad had it made, BUT, we still have to make it. To use his words, he's got it made! I'm sure he's home now awaiting the next family reunion, in Heaven, the hope of every believer! Until that time hold on to the memories, that's the special gifts he has left for you. Sincere condolences. Gary
To the Pitcher Family:
Pastor Pitcher was passionate about his faith. He laboured hard for the kingdom and loved to bring people into a relationship with Jesus Christ. In every conversation with him there was always a funny remark along with a sincere word of advice. May you feel the nearness of God’s strength as you face this time of grief. We will be praying for you.
Please accepted our deepest condolences on the passing of Neil. He served his generation well, as a faithful servant of the Lord.
That Blessed Hope is a wonderful assurance to have.

To the Family,
I have many fond memories of Neil and Millicent visiting our home, ( the Elliott’s) having a cup of tea and sharing stories of God’s goodness.
Your father will be missed for sure but I doubt anyone expected him to “stay long” after “ mom” went home!!
He has changed worlds and gone to his new home!
You are in my thoughts & prayers at this very difficult time. A great man of God . I remember many times ,the great sermons he preached. My husband Bob would meet him many times as he was in the woods near the Telephone Sites, Bob always came home saying how, him & Neil had another chat today!
Cherish your memories, they are precious!
