Frances, Kyle and Carl, so saddened to hear of Larry's passing. We loved his stories of travel to places like China and Russia back in the 1980's, long before it was common for tourist from the West. He was a great story teller and a wonderful person. He took us and our friends on a boat ride around the lake and gave our son his first ride on a Sea-doo. He will be missed. May his memory be a blessing. RIP Larry.

Frances and family, Maureen, Iris and all the families: So sorry to learn of Larry''s passing. I think I've known Larry forever. We were born the same day at the Lady Northcliffe hospital. We've had many great chats over the years, and he certainly frequented the library a lot. He did a couple of travel talks for us - with slides and some collectibles he bought in his travels. Because of Covid, we've lost touch with so many friends, and I didn't know Larry was ill. Hope your many happy memories help you through the coming days. Regards.

So sorry to hear of Lar’s passing. When I think of Lar, I see a tall, blond, handsome, cheerful, friendly face. Someone who always had a cheerful greeting when we ran into each other. One of my youngest memories of Lar was one summer he had a boat up at Rushy Pond and he took me out water-skiing (or attempting to). He will be missed. RIP Lar!
