Also leaving to mourn is her honorary adoptive daughter Joyce Burry (Billy); sister Audrey Webster; 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren.

Rowena Bessie Mae White (Curlew) was the eldest daughter of Mark and Edith Curlew (March). Although she came from humble beginnings, her life was enriched from the many people she had touched. Rowena was so full of life and had a wonderful sense of humor. With everyone she met, she left her mark on them. And they loved her for her witty remarks and humor. Many that knew her called her Mom or Mother, she was so well respected. She loved to knit and one of the last things she knitted was a pair of slippers for a friend. She was determined to finish them and she did.

Rowena married Thomas White on September 13, 2008, adding an extended family of wonderful step brothers and sisters. Rowena will be missed by a large circle of family and friends. She is gone but never forgotten. Go be with the angels, until we meet again.
