Shawn, Trevor and Rideout Family,
So sorry to hear of your loved one's passing. I have known Fred for close to sixty years and have many fond memories when we knocked around together back in the day! He was a talented, hard working man with a great work ethic. Will miss our chats.
May your special memories and the love and support of Family and friends provide you with some sense of comfort. Rest in peace friend

So,so sorry to hear of Fred’s passing.Condolences to all who loved him.I have many sweet memories of him, from childhood, school days to present day. Fred’s Mom Violet and my Gram Giles were good friends going all the way back to Middle Arm in the early 1930s. The last time we spoke was on Good Friday. He was in Barbs driveway, happily working on his side x side in hopes of a back country trip with Barb and some friends. Fred did love to be on the go,and busy.He also loved a good game of cards and Barbs cooking. Life was good! Your passing has left a large hole in our lives. Good bye and God bless my friend.
Thinking of you Barb during this sad time.I met Fred several times since he came into your life. Such a fun & kind man to visit & talk to. Always with a smile & he sure made you smile as well. Take care & see you later…..
So sorry to hear of the passing of Fred. I only had the chance to meet him last summer and I am sure glad I got that opportunity. Fred was a very sweet and kind soul. I will never forget his big smile and jolly laugh as we sat and chatted around the fire. Never got a whole lot of time to get to know one another but the time we had was sure wonderful. I will always remember the times around the fire pit eating blueberry cheesecake and him saying how good of a baker and lady Auntie Barb is. Rest easy Fred, fly high with the angels and please watch over Auntie Barb she is sure going to miss you. Until we meet again you may be gone but you will never be forgotten!

Bruce and I were so devastated to hear of Fred's passing. I knew the family all my life but it was just in the past year or so that we had the privilege to be in his company, share a story, do some berry picking and have a laugh. Always such a big beautiful smile. Every time I make pumpkin squares, he will be the first person I think about. Shared some with him Easter Sunday and he said, "that wasn't fit to eat"....got any more!!! RIP my dear friend. You will surely be missed.
