He also leaves his three sisters: Jackie (Sam Irving), Gail (Clyde Morgan) and Debbie (Terry) Hodder and his in-laws: Darren Hanlon (Edith), Patsy (Clayton) Day and Trudy (Sheldon) Oldford and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastors Derick Sharron and Pastor Geoffrey Ryan will conduct the funeral service at the Windsor Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, April 20 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Caribou Road. Honorary pallbearer will be Jackie Deering (sister).
Wayne was born in Windsor to Lloyd and Vida Fudge growing up with his three sisters. He was a very hard-working man, starting work at a young age as a laborer and then learning carpentry skills where he worked on many projects. Later he became employed with the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor, which also included driving heavy equipment, he enjoyed that to the fullest. No job too big, and no job too small. He loved his family dearly, Maureen and Brianna were his world. He loved his mom (Mudder) and truly missed her after she passed just 20 months ago. Dearly loving his dad also, he passed away when Wayne was only five years old. He enjoyed the cabin life spending time with family and friends, moose hunting, fishing, cutting wood and of course the grub (salad sandwiches), he was a great cook. He was humorous, loved a good time and with a twinkle in his eye and that grin, never a dull moment.
