Obituary of Daniel Leslie Pomeroy

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Daniel Leslie Pomeroy, age 65. After a lengthy illness, he passed away in the presence of family at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center. Dan will forever be remembered and deeply cherished by his loving wife Barbara as well as family and friends. Dan was a lover of everything outdoors from fishing, driving skidoo and quad, camping, and anything in between. Dan was quite the Mr. Fixit and whatever needed to be done, he would gladly give it a shot.

Predeceased by parents Arthur and Mary Pomeroy; parents-in-law Boyd and Marie Cole whom he loved dearly; and brother Terry. Leaving to mourn, forever cherished and missed by his loving wife Barbara. Also leaving to mourn, his brothers Leo, Artie, Paul and families; in-laws Wayne, Wanda, Linda, Sandra, Darryl, Garry and families; step father-in-law Truence Evans. Sadly missed by beloved pets Dezel and Blackie.

Pastor Derick Sharron will conduct the funeral service on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Hoskins Funeral Home, Grand Falls-Windsor with interment at the United Church Cemetery, Caribou Road, Grand Falls-Windsor.

Pallbearers are Artie Pomeroy, Joe Blackmore, Wayne Cole, Gary Cole, Matthew Cole, Aaron Cole. Honorary pallbearer Leo Blackmore.
