
Obituary of Oswald Peyton
Passed peacefully away on March 20, 2022 at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Center, Botwood. He was 91 years of age.
Mr. Peyton was a soldier of The Salvation Army Botwood Corps and was involved with the Men's Fellowship for many years. He was also actively involved in sports, mainly Broomball, Badminton, and Softball. His love for softball kept him playing until he was 80. He was very well known in the sporting community and has left an impact on many lives as a result.
He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth; parents Henry and Pearl Peyton; in laws Andrew and Annie Dalley; brothers Heber, Hedley, and Ross; sisters Trixie, Kathleen, Fern, and Judy; and son Brian.
He leaves to mourn son Mervin (Karen); daughter Kelly (Robert) Andrews; daughter-in-law Karen Oxford-Peyton; brothers Ernie (Penny) and Owen (Rita); grandchildren Andrew (Danielle), Melanie, Emily, Rachel, Kirke (Amie), Brandon (Shenesse), and Jordan; great grandchildren Brayden, Brianne, Jaxson, and a large circle of family and friends. Funeral Service will be by invitation. Donations can be made to the Salvation Army Corps, Botwood.
