Obituary of Clotilda Marie Chayter

Passed peacefully away on December 31, 2021, Clotilda Marie (nee Foley) Chayter, at the age of 91.  She was predeceased by her husband Clarence; parents Thomas and Ida Foley; granddaughter Hilda Fagan; brother Augustine; sisters Eileen, Violet, Ida, Mary, Agatha, Rita, Josephine, Theresa, Rose and Sheila.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons Bill Chayter (Roxanne) of Botwood, Dennis Chayter (Kim) of Botwood; daughters Trula Thompson (Wayne)of Botwood, Sharon Chayter of Burlington, On, Mary Cripps (Shawn) of Botwood, Hilery Chayter (Grant) of Burlington, On. Also leaving to mourn a special daughter Jackie Sibley (Bob) of Botwood; brother-in-law Cecil Chayter (Juanita) of Northern Arm; grandchildren Dion Thompson (Carla), Shawna Cripps (Renee), Cheyanne Smart (Garrett), Sascha Chayter (Kriz), Kendal Chayter, Marcus Chayter (Dominique), Tony Fagan; great-grandchildren Victoria Fagan, Sebastian Fagan (Shayla), Henry Dawe, Everleigh  Chayter, Nora Dawe; great-great grandchildren Savanna Fagan, Kylan Fagan and a large circle of nieces, nephews and her special dog Lexi.

Clo retired from The Botwood Royal Canadian Legion after 25 years of service.  She will be greatly missed by many.  Her door was always open to everyone. She loved life.  A celebration on Mom’s life will be held at a later date.

A very special thank you to two wonderful home support workers Marjorie Sweeney and Rosalind Williams for their kindness, love and care.  Mom loved them dearly.

The family would also like to extend special thanks to Dr. Ryan Dean and Dr. Raie Lene Kirby.
