Josephine Millicent Pitcher

May 3, 1935 – December 13, 2021


It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Millicent Pitcher (Keefe) on December 13, 2021 at the Central NL Regional Health Care Centre.  She was 86 years of age.  We will be forever grateful for the kindhearted, quiet mannered beautiful life that she shared with us.  We will hold it deep in our hearts.  She was predeceased by her parents Alphonsus and Hazel Keefe, brother Everett Keefe, special Aunt Flossie (Keefe) Kennedy and sister Beverley (Keefe) Foote.  Left to mourn with treasured memories are her devoted husband of 66 years Pastor William (Neil) Pitcher; sons Raymond (Irene) Pitcher, Ivan (Venice) Pitcher, Bill (Valda) Pitcher.  Also her grandchildren:  Chantal (Jason) Jewer, Matthew Pitcher, Mark (Lynh Tran) Pitcher, Nathan (Katie) Pitcher, Sabrina Pitcher, Kristina (Adam) Hancock, Jonathan Pitcher, Tara (Jeremy) Foss, Jared (Emily) Pitcher.  Great grandchildren:  Catherine, Caleb, Sophia, Addison, Jaxson, Emma and Abby; brothers, Robert (Ruth) Keefe, Malcolm (Shirley) Keefe and Maybin (Joyce) Keefe. She also leaves a large circle of relatives and friends, who will remember her fondly.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.  Pastor Geoffrey Ryan will conduct the funeral service from the Windsor Pentecostal Church on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 2 PM with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Matthew Pitcher (grandson), Mark Pitcher (grandson), Nathan Pitcher (grandson), Jared Pitcher (grandson), Johnathan Pitcher (grandson) and Paul Pitcher (nephew).


Visitation for immediate family and extended family will take place on Thursday 7-9.  Vaxpass with ID will be required for visitation and funeral.  Funeral attendance will be by invitation only.  Donations in Millicent's memory can be made to the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL via the following link:
