So sorry to hear about Mr. Dalley's passing. He was such a sweet, kind, soul and I have so many fond memories of chats with him when I was a small kid and again as I got older and would run into him in Grand Falls with my Dad. He always made time to talk. Thinking of you.

As family and friends share stories, laughter and tears may you celebrate the the special part that Roy played in each life he touched. Our family was blessed to share his friendship for so many years. RIP God bless
So very sorry to hear of Mr Dalley's passing. I had so many chats with him when he stopped by the pharmacy, we had lots of laughs. Of course he and Paul shared lots of stories whenever they saw each other and of course a chuckle or two. Such a fine gentleman, I don't think his voice was ever above a whisper. He was so proud of you Terry and Bill, always talked about you. I am sure you will miss him dearly, hold your memories close. Sending our condolences to you and your families.

Terry, Bill and families: It was with sadness that Len and I heard of the passing of Roy and we send our heartfelt condolences to all of you. It was always a pleasure to drive down from Buchans to visit Roy and Edna. They were so very welcoming and entertained us with their many stories. Christmas was a very special time with your mother's raisin bread and her birthday cake for Jesus. She reminded us that we could not celebrate a birthday without a cake. Since her passing I have made a birthday cake for Jesus and our grandchildren and their cousins sing as they stand around the cake. Your father was a true gentleman who spoke mildly and with respect. So many memories come flooding back now. No two boys were ever loved more than you were. As you go through this period of grief remember the legacy of love that has been left to you and it will guide your footsteps as you journey on. We are with you in spirit, sending our love and praying that God's love will surround you and grant you peace.

We’ve been friends with the Dalley family since we came to Millertown 50 years ago. Some lovely memories we’ve created in that length of time, with the whole family. My daughter loved going to have tea with Mrs. Dalley when she was a little girl. It was always a pleasant experience going to the Royal stores when Mr Dalley worked there….he was usually up for a chat and never lost that quality during our visits with him at the home. He loved to talk about old times and also his family—how proud he sounded when he was telling us little stories about them. Always some pictures came out for our enjoyment and interest!! Although he didn’t live in Millertown any more, he always visited and took time to look up old friends. He was a gentleman that will not be forgotten. To the family, please accept our deepest condolences and take comfort in your memories, as I’m sure you have lots.
