To: Sadie & The Thompson Family
Our hearts are saddened today when we heard the news of Jim’s passing. My first visit with Jim I found him in his shed, his response to me when I entered was “what you doing here? Am I going to die, no minister ever visited me in my shed before”””. Well that was the beginning of a great friendship between Jim and I. Major Cassie’s first meeting with him was on the church parking lot during an open air meeting that struck of an interesting conversation. That friendship and many conversations continued on the seven years we lived in Point Leamington. We always enjoyed visiting Jim & Sadie and most times we were treated to a cup of tea or a glass of drink. It was a pleasure to visit him during our last visit to Point Leamington , as we reminisced and listened to his witty remarks again and talk about the Lord and salvation. and yes to pray with him as we watch tears fill his eyes.
We have fond memories of Jim and Sadie and we thank the Lord that we were a part of their lives.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during these very difficult days. May you look to Jesus who walks with us through every trial and promises Eternal Life to all who believe.
Much love & Prayers
Majors Bob & Cassie

Aunt Sadie and lovely Cousins
I am so sad to hear about Uncle Jim’s passing. He was a lovely man - always a kind smile and a funny story. Dad (Lo) is very sad saying that he lost one of his best friends. I hope you have smiles of memories through the tear of sorrow. Thinking of you all.
