Obituary of Maisie White

Passed peacefully away on November 2, 2021, surrounded by her family,at the Carmelite House, Maisie White at the age of 85 years. She was a housewife / homemaker and was a member of the Salvation Army Park Street Home League.

She was predeceased by her parents Olando Wiseman and Minnie Tavenor; son, Melvin; daughter, Margaret; son-in-law Lawrence McCarthy; sisters: Mary, Hilda; brother, John; parents-in-law, George and Lucy White.

She leaves to mourn her husband Arthur White; son, Malcolm White; daughters: Barb (Ralph) Dunham, Joan (Scott) Walker, Helen (Irvin) Gers, Pauline (Jerry Ruddock) Elson, Dallas (Chris) Collins, Rosalind Elson, Sharon Holmes, Gwen (Jeff) Butt and Paula (Rodney Champion) MacKenzie; brother, Lewis Wiseman, 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a circle of other relatives and friends.

Following COVID regulations (double vaccination required) visitation will be on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 at Hoskins Funeral Home, Grand Falls-Windsor.

Majors Peter and Janice Rowe will conducted the funeral service from The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel on Friday at 2 p.m. (following COVID regulations (double vacination required).

Pallbearers are Paula, Gwen, Ros, Pauline, Michelle and Chelsea.
