Passed peacefully away, at her residence, surrounded by her family, Carolyn Gibson. She was 67 years of age. She was predeceased by her parents Melba and Ralph Curtis; grandparents Samuel and Ethel Curtis; Bert and Lillian Woolridge. Carolyn was born on February 16, 1954 to Melba and Ralph Curtis in Botwood. Carolyn loved her family and she loved life. She loved to play cards, worked hard and partied hard. She loved to have her friends come for a visit and was always telling jokes; no one was bored with Carolyn around. Our faces would hurt from laughing so much. Carolyn was always doing something out in the garden from making firewood for her fire pit which she loved, to mowing the lawn. We can certainly say that she loved life to the fullest. She leaves to mourn her wife Rowena; son Curtis Gibson; step-daughters Jennifer (Clarence), Geraldine; step-son Corey (Rosie); sisters Peggy (Dan) Arch, Joan Lemay, Loreene (Paul) Stuckless; brothers Glen (Joanne ) Curtis, Brian (Troidina) Curtis, Freeman Curtis and Stephen (Gloria) Curtis; grandchildren Jayden and Michael; step- grandchildren Adrianna, Michael, Cole, Seamus and Ilia; and a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; her lifelong friend and confidant Donna Stuckless and a large number of friends.
Services will be private for family and invited friends.
