Stephen Edward Jeans was born to Boyce and Zelda Jeans on February 8, 1968. On July 6, 1991, he married the love of his life and best friend, Kimberly Burry. Together, they had their son, Kyle. Steve loved being a father and would often say his son was his greatest accomplishment.

Steve loved to make people laugh. His biggest joy in life was bringing smiles and laughter to everyone around him. His witty jokes and kind smile brought happiness to those lucky enough to know him and his contagious laughter could light up any room.

The simplest pleasures in life brought steve the most happiness. He was most content in the wilderness. He loved to fish, hunt, and spend time at the cabin. He would walk for hours in the woods and he often said that it was where he felt most at peace.

Steve will be deeply missed and will be loved eternally by a large group of family and friends.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Centre in Botwood for the exceptional care they gave to Steve during his final days.
