As a Pastoral Charge Supervisor for First United Church in Windsor, I was able to meet and minister with Willie Guy a number of times for Celebration of Life services. He was certainly dedicated to God and to his church in Windsor, He was always able to tell me a personal story or two about the person who had died so I could make the service more personal. No doubt he has already heard the words “Well done good and faithful servant. Come now and share in your master’s happiness.” May your family be comforted with the comfort of God that kept Willie confident in the Lord and may you find peace and God’s presence surrounding you. Blessings, Rev. Stephanie McClellan ( I was in Lewisporte and I am now in Musgravetown)

Till that day hold dear too your heart all the precious memories of Willie. With deepest Smypathy Austin & Joyce (nee Roberts) Price.

Although I didn't know Mr Guy personally , I have know Keith for many years from working in the mall, you must have been a wonderful father , as keith spoke with love about you and your wife daily . It is obvious he was very loved and well taken care of .. as you dropped him off daily so he could visit and spend some time seeing familiar faces . There is a special place in heaven waiting for you.. as you have shown love for your son. May you rest in piece.. and Keith I still can't marry you as I'm still taken .. lol
Mary and Keith,
So sorry to hear of Willie's passing. He was such a kind caring gentleman to everyone and I loved the years I worked with him at Cohen's. I was in GF-W this past week and thought of him on a number of occasions so I was sad to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with both of you at this time. Remember he's always with you. Take care.
Mary and Keith, So very sorry to see Willie’s obituary online. Willie was always a good friend to Mr. Moore and his family. Both Willie and Mr Moore (before his passing many years ago) were very involved in the First United Church. Willie kept going some 30 plus years looking after church, conducting services many times, and also choir director. These are just a few things we know about, I’m sure Mary knows so much more about Willie’s devotion to his church. Willie was a very devoted husband to Mary, and father to Keith who depended on him so much. We are thinking of you Mary and Keith during these difficult days. Sincere sympathy, love and prayers. Bruce and Shirley Moore

To Mary & Keith
Sending our sincere condolences on Willie's passing. I haven't saw Willie in a lot of years, but got to know him as a young lad going back and forth to the sawmill with my Dad. Way back then I remember Willie driving a Bus and was always there to give my Dad a ride to wherever he had to go. Matter of fact I purchased my first car, a green 55 Chev from Willie's Dad. Cherish the memories and there must be many and you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time..
Mary and Keith, so sorry to hear of Willie’s passing. Joan and I extend our deepest condolences to you both. Willie was such a great person who loved God, his family and his church. We will cherish the many memories we have. He loved so much to see us come and visit and we enjoyed the many chats over the years. My most recent visit with him in the hospital was heartbreaking but he talked so much about the many sermons that he had written and delivered. He worked so hard over the years to keep the doors open at First United Church and I know how hard it was on him when they had to close the doors. Willie was meticulous about everything he did. He took pride in his hand writing skills and his artistry was excellent. We have lost a dear friend but Heaven has gained a treasure. No more pain, discomfort, worry or sorrow but to hear the words of the one he has served and trusted all these years”Well done thou good and faithful servant”. Rest In Peace our dearest friend Willie.
Joan and Al
