Obituary of Clifford Roland Pretty

December 19^th, 1934 – January 1^st, 2021

Passed away on Friday, January 1^st, 2021 at Central NL Regional Health Centre, Clifford Roland Pretty, at age 86 years.  Clifford worked most of his life as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He retired from Syncrude Canada in 1993, and returned to Newfoundland a few years later to his hometown, Bishop’s Falls.

He was predeceased by his wife Betty, sons Scott and Wayne, his parents Nellie and Maxwell Pretty. Clifford leaves behind his children, Maxwell (Dorothy), Gayelia (Chess), Michele (Peter), Nadine (David), Glen (Jocelyn), Cindy, Todd (Lisa), his daughter-in-laws Charlene and Olive, and many adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well many extended family.

At Clifford’s request, cremation has taken place and there will not be any visitation or funeral service.

Sincere thanks are extended to Dr. Clancey, Dr. Powell, Dr. Marco, Dr. Hynes, and the nurses on 2A at CNRC.  Thank you for your dedication and compassion.
