Beulah (Known as "Boo" to close family and friends) was born and raised in Botwood, NL and left home to travel to Ontario at a very early age and spent 40 plus years there. Beulah spent the majority of her life in Waterloo, and it was there she started and nurtured her family life. She worked for many years at various factories until she was no longer able to due to issues with her health. Although Beulah spent most of her time away from Newfoundland, she made frequent visits and enjoyed calling home to keep up-to-date on the happenings of the family.
Beulah loved her family - her parents, siblings, children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and close friends. Though she loved her life in Ontario, there was always a part of her heart that remained in Newfoundland. In the years before moving back home, Beulah and her brother, Hughlet would make yearly visits to spend time with their family. Beulah enjoyed family gathering, celebrations, connecting with loved one, cooking (sampling, consuming ... she loved food), baking and putting a smile on peoples faces. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
On behalf of the family, we would like to thank the staff of Killick Retirement Home and the doctors nurses and staff of the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre for their love, care and support over the last four years. Your hard work and dedication is very much appreciated.
