Due to the Covid-19 and the travel bans, we want to share a timeline of Dads life for his daughter Karen in Vancouver, B.C, family and friends and who are unable to attend.

Our loving father was born on February 2, 1938 to Kenneth and Lucy Andrews of Horse Islands, NL.  He was the youngest of eleven children.

On January 19, 1966 he married his first wife Marjorie Eveleigh of Change Islands. They had two daughters Connie and Karen.  Marjorie was tragically killed in a car accident in 1975.  In 1965 dad moved to Toronto, Ontario and worked as a Diesel Mechanic for the CNR, for 38 years until his retirement in 2001.  He then moved to Botwood.  In 1983 dad remarried Hazel Haggett.  They had a son, Everett Jr. Together we became a blended family with Kimberley and Carla.

Dad gave his heart to his Lord and Saviour in his teenage years and was a faithful member of the Churches he was a part of, The West End Revival Temple, Toronto, Ontario, Cross Roads Cathedral, Toronto, Ontario, Peel Pentecostal Tabernacle, Brampton, Ontario, Jubilee Pentecostal Temple, Botwood, NL.  His love of music was evident in his singing and playing his accordion.  He was involved at his Church, Men’s Ministries and Men’s prisons.  His hobbies were found in his love for the outdoors, trouting, hunting and keeping his wood pile stocked.  Dad was a marvelous cook who shared whatever he had to give.

A special thank-you and appreciation to niece/nurse Lucretia Buckley for her constant hard work, compassion and patience in caring for our dad.  Val and Ivonne Bussy, Levi and Shirley Budgell in their time and effort driving dad to and from St.Johns. Dr. Dean, nurses and staff of the Twomey Centre Botwood, NL for their wonderful care and professionalism in this trying time.

Special thank you to Pastor White and the pallbearers Brooks Quinlan grandson, Jimmy Rowsell son-in-law, Jordan Rowsell grandson and  Eric Seabright close friend for helping us through this difficult time.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Donations in Everett's memory can be made to Jubilee Pentecostal Temple in Botwood. Condolences can be sent to Hazel Andrews at P.O. 434, Botwood, NL A0H1E0
