I didn’t have the privilege to meet him in person, but I did have the privilege to meet him through his son, two grandsons and his close friends to feel as if I knew him.
A war hero full of love and loyalty for his county, loving husband, dedicated father, an intelligent energetic man.
My sincere condolences to the family, my thoughts are with you during this difficult time of grieving. Please know that you are not alone in remembering a truly wonderful person who was so respected by his community and country.
It was such an honour to reconnect with Uncle Lloyd and Aunt Marg a few summers ago. We so marvelled at how bright he was with his story telling, but also how interested he was in us and our lives ... always accompanied by the quick humour of Aunt Marg. What treasures they were!
Our condolences to all the family and friends.

So sorry to hear of Lloyd's passing. He lived a full life and that's all that we can ask for in this world of ours. To say that Lloyd was one of a kind would be an understatement. We should all be so lucky as to have crowded the accomplishments into our lives as Lloyd did to his. It was a pleasure to have known him and my life is enriched because of that. A remarkable man who lived an amazing life, surrounded by family. With the passing of a parent/grandparent, we mourn not only the loss of a loved one, we grieve for the “child" within ourselves that is lost with their passing. What a guy, soldier/sailor, person, story teller, historian, railroader, friend and just plain Newfoundlander in every respect. Sharon and I loved this man.... Great to have reconnected with him and family in the past 2 decades...
My condolences to all of the Seaward family and to anyone that may have known him. I feel privileged to have had this special man in my life for 29 years. I was just a grand daughter in-law but he always made me feel like I was apart of the Seaward family. I never really knew my grandparents, but I feel honored to have called him Pop. He was the most unselfish person you have ever met and was a hero in every sense of the word. He always thought of his family first and put their needs before his own. He was a wonderful great grandfather to my two children, Jeffrey and Danielle. He will surely be missed. Love You and Rest in Peace Pop

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr Seaward. We were late in getting to know him , but we cherish every memory as we shared a room at the hospital in GFW. From the beginning we saw he was a great caring man with an even greater caring family. You are all special in your own way. He taught you well to be kind and loving to yourselves and to others. Your kindness and thoughtfulness and your caring for others did not go unnoticed. Above all the care, love ,devotion and respect you showed to your father and grandfather was appreciated by all who entered his room.
