Obituary of Glendon Harry Robert Oldford
It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Glenn Oldford announce his sudden passing at his residence in Point of Bay, on September 16th, 2019. Glenn was 75 years of age. Glenn enjoyed working in the construction and paving business creating lifelong friendships with his co-workers at Penney Paving. Glenn loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved the water and enjoyed cruising Exploits in his old putt putt motor boat or his bayliner. He loved his cabin trips with his buddies, fishing, hunting or rabbit catching. You would always expect a call from Glenn, he would have a project for you to do at his house. The work got done but more important to him, he got to enjoy your company. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is predeceased by his parents Henry and Ethel Oldford and wife Elizabeth (Churchill) Oldford. Leaving to mourn are his daughters Lisa (Karl) and Lori Ann (Craig), granddaughters, who he cherished Shauna, Heidi, Amanda and Anna. Great-grandchildren, who he adored Maci, Ollie, Amelia, and Leo. Siblings Ina, Elizabeth (Howard), Woodrow (Betty) and Glenda (Nath). Pastor Geoffrey Ryan will conduct the funeral service at Windsor Pentecostal Church in Grand Falls-Windsor on September 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Windsor Pentecostal Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Karl Guy, Craig Perry, Robert Baker, Freddy Cooper, Brian Borland and Ray Philpott. Honorary Pallbearers: Roy Rice, Robert King and Gerald Hewitt.
