I met Minnie in the hospital and was in awe of this gentle beautiful lady. We continued to exchange letters and cards. She was a true inspiration and I have often thought of her even though I have left the province. I would like to expend deepest condolences to her family. She will surely be missed.
Condolences to the Family of Mrs, Churchill. I Hubert) remember well when Pastor Geoffrey Shaw(Supt. of Education, Ross Perry, Principal of Botwood Pent. School, and myself stayed at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Churchill during a pre Pent. Teachers' Fellowship in Feb. of 1961. Their gifting of hospitality was so evident at that time, Also their presence and service for many years at Emmanuel Convention Center was a blessing to many of us. Mrs. Churchill's demeanor reflected the love of Jesus whom she is now glorifying in His presence awaiting to be joined by family and friends who will be ready for the Great Reunion.
Sorry for your loss. Never knew her long but she was a beautiful lady. She will be missed.
Aunt Minnie always had a positive influence in my life as a child. She brought this same positive influence in my adult life to my husband and children. Her never ending smile will be surely missed.
To Eddie, Junior, Barbie, Enos, Cliff and families. We will never forget the many visits that Minnie and Gordon would make to our place in Point Leamington all those years ago. Time changes things and in recent years we would visit Minnie and reminisce about the old times and our various family members, her dozens of photo albums meant so much and she loved to share each one in detail. Our condolences, love and prayers to each one. God Bless.
Sorry To Hear Of Your Loss...Our Thoughts And Prayers Are With You At Such A Sad Time.
Barbie, Eddie and Junior and your Mom Elsie. Sending our condolences at this time. We were neighbours for many years and now Caribou Road has lost a wonderful lady. Not many of the old neighbourhood families left , but my Mom ( Edith Dawe) sends her heartfelt condolences for a long wonderful life well lived. There will be a lot of reminiscing over the next few days, laugh, cry and share stories for those will help you through the difficult days ahead. Rest In Peace Mrs. Churchill.
To The Churchill Family,
Scripture says, “With long life will I satisfy them and show them my salvation. Today we mourn the loss of your love one but applaud her entrance into heaven, “Absent from the body but present with the Lord.” May you find comfort in God’s Word. Death does not have the final word. Resurrection does. Till then stay faithful. Sorry we out of town but our thoughts and prayers are with you. Please accept our deepest condolence.
To the family of Minnie Churchill:
We were saddened to hear of sister Churchill's passing but we rejoice to know she is in the presence of her Lord. Sister Churchill was a great lady of faith and we enjoyed every visit with her. She made us laugh many times and her faith in God was a blessing and encouragement to us. As you gather to celebrate the life of your loved one, may the many treasured memories be a source of encouragement and strength. We pray that the presence of family, friends, and God will be the support, comfort, and peace you all need for this day and the days to come. I am blessed to have been her pastor for so many years.
With sincere condolences to the entire Churchill family and to Mrs.Churchill's close friends. This is a sad time and great loss for everyone, but it is also a time of celebration for the blessings of having known Mrs Churchill. She brought joy and inspiration to the lives of all who knew her and certainly took advantage of every moment that God gave her. She is already missed, and very fondly remembered. Thoughts and memories cause a smile and a prayer of thanksgiving for her life. Claudette
To Barbie, Eddie and Junior.
We are so sorry to hear of your Nan's passing. She was a very special lady to so many people and we know that she meant so much to each of you and all the family members. We have a long history together from the early 1950's when I came to Windsor to teach and stayed with Mr & Mrs. Churchill. That time brings such great memories of the tricks we played and the fun we had. At last year's birthday celebrations, we chatted about many of those times. We were looking forward to being able to do that again after this year's birthday. Now, we will wait until we meet again. with our love to the family and our wonderful memories of "Mrs Churchill". Flora & Claude
