Obituary of Daryl William Neil Perry
Daryl William Neil passed peacefully away on June 27, 2019 at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor. He was 59 years of age. Daryl worked as an independent contractor, owning his own skidder and then moving on to work with Abitibi as a Power Saw Operator for many years and then retrained as a Heavy Equipment Operator. In 2007, due to many years of working hard, his working life ended, and he transitioned into disability. He then focused on his family and his love to cook and outdoor adventures.
He was predeceased by his father, Lloyd, father-in-law, Jimmy, and step-father, Ossy. He leaves to mourn his wife and best friend, Judy. They were married for 31 years. His four children, who were his pride and joy: Kendra (Steve) Hussey, Krista (Chad), Katelyn, and Justin; his three grandchildren, whom he bragged about: Ben, Abby and Timmy, as well as four grandpuppies: Raiden, Akira, Quinn, and Pierre.
Also leaving to mourn, his mother, Annie Perry, mother-in-law, Flossie Bursey, sisters, Colleen (Peter) Curlew, Glennis (Lorne) Poitras, Sonya (David) Elliott, and brothers, Brian (Darlene), Olin (Deanne), Irvin (Charlene), brothers-in-law, Glen (Evelyn), Gary (Amelia), and Dale. He also leaves to mourn sixteen nieces and nephews. One niece that was very special and whom he had a wonderful relationship with, Rebecca.
Pastor Robert Parsons will conduct the funeral service from Windsor Pentecostal Church on Monday, July 1, 2019 at 2pm. Interment will follow at the Windsor Pentecostal Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home in Grand Falls-Windsor.
Donations can be made in Daryl's memory to the Lionel Kellend Hospice.
