It is with great sadness that the family of the late Louis “Lou” Luscombe announce his passing in the Intensive Care Unit at the Central NL Regional Health Centre on June 4, 2019, at the age of 64. He passed peacefully away in the arms of his daughter.
Lou is predeceased by his son, baby Frankie; parents William and Edna Luscombe; brothers: William Jr., Eli and Frank, and sisters: Sandra and Mary.
Leaving to mourn with fond and fun loving memories are his daughter, Sonya (Bruce) White of CBS, NL, Bob (Ruth) Luscombe of Port Elgin, ON, Albert (Louise) Luscombe of Badger, NL, Shirley Luscombe of Grand Bank, NL; his nieces and nephews and the residents and staff of Exploits Manor in Bishop’s Falls, NL.
The family wishes to extend a big thank you to the staff of Exploits Manor and the staff of Central NL Regional Health Centre where the care and compassion he was shown was exceptional.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. Inurnment to take place at a later date at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Badger, NL.
Donations in his memory can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Newfoundland and Labrador.
