Obituary of Jean Lush
After a long, courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis, Lilian Jean Lush, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at her home in Georgetown, Ontario at the age of 72 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Elsie and Gordon Loder, brother Clyde Loder, brother Douglas Loder, sister Ethel, parents-in-law Ida and Donald Lush.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Albert of 51 years, cherished son, Paul (Lisa) Lush cherished daughter, Susan (Randy) Batten, four grandchildren, Alexis and Zachery Lush, Caleb and Rylan Batten. Brothers Freeman (Ivey) Loder, Gerald (Marilyn) Loder, Bruce (Ruth) Loder, Derrick (Dianne) Loder sisters-in-law Marie Loder and Joan Loder. The Lush family: Harry and Jane, Shirley and Alf, Gordon and Cheryl. Also, a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Jean was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to visit her family and always made it priority.
She was employed at the Carmelite Home for Senior Citizens in Grand Falls-Windsor where she made lifelong friends with her co-workers and guests of the home. Also, she was employed by Kennedy Road Tabernacle – Brampton Christian School in Brampton, ON. There she devoted her time and skills working with the staff and students.
She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Pastors Tony Roberts and Melvin Power will conduct the funeral service at Faith Covenant Church in Badger, Newfoundland on June 5, 2019 at 2 pm with interment at the Badger Pentecostal Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
Pallbearers are: Bruce Loder (brother), Gerald Loder (brother), Paul Lush (son), Lester Reid (cousin), Randy Batten (son-in-law), Zachery Lush (grandson). Honorary Pallbearers Eldest brother – Freeman Loder, Youngest brother – Derrick Loder.
A memorial fund for Return Ministries (Israel) will receive donations in Jean's memory.
