Obituary of Ronald G. Kelly
Ronald Gearld Kelly passed peacefully away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 following a long battle with IPF. Ron's life was cut short due to illness but he had a large and lasting impact on numerous friends and family through his love of music and the ocasional argument ;)
Donald Trump can finally relax as Ron has other things to do now joining the angels above.
Ron was known as a man of music as a member of The Station Road Band with his two best friends Gerard and Donnie.
After Ron was diagnosed with his illness he never complained or felt sorry for himself. Throughout Ron's long battle he was consistently asked how he was and always replied with "good".......
He was a devoted husbanld of 54 years to his wife Lorraine (Hurley) Kelly. Ron was the oldest son of seven children by parents Fred and Hetty Kelly
Ron was a devoted and supportive father to his five children Elizabeth, Ronnie, Lori, Melinda and Scotty.
Predeceased by his parents Fred and Hetty Kelly, brother Eugene (Mari) Kelly, brothers in-law Stephen Hurley and Jack Hurley, sisters in-law Betty, and grandson Jonathon Curtis. He leaves to mourn his wife Lorraine, children Elizabeth (Andrew) Curtis, Ronnie (Lisa) Kelly, Lori (Shawn) Moss, Melinda (Paul) Drover and Scotty, siblings Kevin, Chris and partner Barbara, Shirley, Bernadette and husband Gerard, mother in law Mary Kate, sisters in-law Kay (Ty) Austin, Sharon (Me
lvin) Lecore, Peggy (Sterling) Wiseman, Jane (Mo) Thompson, Sheila (Greg) Davis, Rose (Harry) Budgell, Kelly (Rick Antle) Hurley, sister-in-law Madonna Taylor Hurley. Brothers in-law Ray (Eileen) Hurley, Martin Hurley, Larry (Dot) Hurley, Jim (Sandy) Hurley, Pat (Lorna) Hurley, Mike (Denise Davis) Hurley. Grandchildren Renee, Matthew, Abby, Josh, Holly, Alex, Megan, Zack and Keagan. Great grandchildren Julio, Bailey Jane, Olivia, Summer, Chloe and Noah. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Ron will be remembered for the love of his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous relatives and close friends. He shared music and the joy of entertaining with all those that knew him leaving a life long legacy.
At Mr. Kelly request cremation has taken place. Family visitation will take place on Friday May 17, 2-4 pm and the family will be accpeting friends on Friday evening from 7-9 pm
