Obituary of Jeanette Evangeline Walker
Passed peacefully away on May 12, 2019, Jeanette Walker, at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Center, Grand Falls-Windsor. She was 87 years of age. She was predeceased by her parents John and Cicily Welsh, brothers Marshall, John, David, Gerald; sister Myra; son Darrin; daughter Shirley; Anthony Pinsent, Von Noseworthy; Maxwell Walker; son-in-law Calvin Burt.
Jeanette was a member of the Salvation Army Home League, the League of Mercy and the Legion. She taught Sunday School, loved to knit and she knit for the Red Cross, the Nona in St. Johns, and the Hospital Auxiliary. She did a lot of volunteer work at the Local Good Will Center in Botwood. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Mom you will be forever loved. She loved to laugh, we all will miss that.
She leaves to mourn her children Phyllis Burt, Patsy (Arthur) Barnes, Roger (Maisie) Randell, Wayne (Cavell) Randell, Judy (Edward) Sitman, Bernadine (Glenn) Burt, Tony (Bernice) Pinsent, Christopher (Mary) Pinsent, David (Jo-Anne) Pinsent, Craig (Heather) Pinsent, Darlene (Todd) Regular, Roy Cooper (son-in-law). She also leaves to mourn her 28 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and a large number of other relatives and friends.
Captains Morgan and Lisa Hillier will conduct the funeral service from The Salvation Army Citadel, on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 2 P.M. Interment to follow at the Botwood Community Cemetery. Funeral arrangement entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood.
