To the Pond and Rice Families;
So sorry to hear of David's passing.
I remember him as a little boy when we lived next door to his grandfather's house (Mr Ned Pond). He was loved so much by his family and friends.
Rest in peace David, now your suffering is over and you are enjoying Heaven with your Mom Susie and your Pond grandparents and your uncle Harold Pond.
So sorry to hear of your brothers passing....Thinking of you and your family at this time...Hold on to your memories...Hugs
To Wayne, Boyd and families; As I have thought about David over the past few days, I remember the smiling boy of eight hobbling into the garden with the metal leg brace weighing him down; I remember him boasting he could eat more than six hotdogs at a time; I remember when he had his little shop set up one summer in the provincial building; I remember all the different apartments he cajoled me into dragging furniture with him; I remember him speeding into the garden on his wheelchair for Sunday dinners and his clothes bag hanging off the handlebars for Mom to wash after Aunt Susie passed; I remember he never missed a wedding or a funeral,you could count on David being there; I remember if I wanted somebody's birth date that David would know. I'm proud of the life you lived, David, and will remember you forever.
To The Rice Family,
Sorry to hear of David's passing. We all grew up next door to each other. May he rest in peace and he is now out of the pain he suffered for so many years.
