Obituary of Roger Seymour

Passed away on January 2, 2019 at the Central Newfoundland Regional health Center in Grand Falls-Windsor, Roger Seymour at the age of 64 years. Roger is predeceased by his father, Graham Seymour; sisters, Deidre Seymour and Nathaline LeDrew; brother-in-law, Brad Champion; and sister-in-law, Linda Seymour. He leaves to mourn, his wife, Debbie; son, Gregory (Candace) Seymour; daughter, Valerie (Darrin) Penney; mother, Ida Seymour; sisters, Paulette (Lloyd), and Denise; brothers, Graham (Evelyn), David (Gail), Carl, Woodrow (Mary), Paul, Floyd (David), and Craig (Lori). Also left to mourn, three grandchildren, Gavin and Hudson Penney, and Charlotte Seymour; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

Roger was such an amazing man and husband. The love he had for his wife Debbie was a real life fairytale. He wanted nothing for himself. He just wanted to see her smile and ensure her happiness. And that was what made him the happiest man most of us have ever known. He leaves behind so many family and friends that will forever remember him in their hearts. He loved his grandchildren dearly and would move mountains for them. From building custom baseball dugout bed, a hockey locker, to cutting a whole water melon in the shape of little “1’s” he was there for whatever needed to be done. His purpose on this earth was to make his family and friends smile and laugh. And he did just that. With jokes good and bad. Every single day.

Rev. Stephanie McClellan will conduct a Memorial Service from Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle in Bishop's Falls on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at 1pm. Interment will follow at the United Cemetery in Bishop's Falls.
