Obituary of John Caravan

Passed peacefully away June 30, 2005 at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Center in Grand Falls-Windsor, John Arthur Caravan. He was 50 years of age. Mr. Caravan was employed with Abitibi Consolidated as a paper maker for 31 years. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Mildred Caravan. Left to mourn are his wife, Diane; daughters, Sonia (fiancé, Michael Bungay), Vicki (friend, Matthew Davis); sisters, Judy (Kenneth Wilson), Grace (Wade Bowers), Barbara, Carol (Patrick Dormody); brothers, Bill (Patricia), Wayne (Diana), Robert (Barbara), Charlie (Paul Stewart); 1 grandson, Daniel; father and mother-in-law, Glynn and Verna Barnes; sisters-in-law, Kim (Clay Grant), Debbie Barnes, Glenda Barnes, Denyse Barnes (Ian Goulding); as well as special friends from the Central Auto Clinic, Abitibi Price Mill Workers and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Reverend Howard Crooks conducted funeral services from the Memorial United Church in Grand Falls-Windsor on Saturday, July 2, 2005. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Homes, Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers were Dave Cole, Fred Cross, Paul Higgins, David Noftall, Stan Parsons and Bill Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers were Glen Champion and Bill Champion.
