Obituary of Frances Butler
Passed peacefully away on October 21, 2018, Frances Butler, at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Center, Gander. She was 89 years of age.
Frances was a very active and devoted member of The Seventh day Adventist Church and a very well loved woman by all who knew her. She was involved with the Local Good Will Centre, loved meeting and making new friends, telling her stories, of which she had many. Frances loved to knit and loved her family, they were her world. She was a person with a heart of gold and her passion was helping anyone she could. Everyone loved her macaroni and cheese, which was her famous food for friends and family. Frances was loved very much and will be missed by everyone.
She was predeceased by her husband William Butler; son Scott; daughter Patsy Marie; grandson Daryl Newton; great granddaughter Sydney Blake; daughter-in-law Alice Butler; parents Zechariah and Beatrice Hibbs and brothers Bill, Steve and Arch. She leaves to mourn her sons Wilson (Roxanne), James, Levi (Gloria); daughters Phyllis (Eric) Newton, Sadie (Kenneth) Williams, Joyce (Tony) ConForti; daughter-in-law Joan Paul; sisters Sadie, Dorcas; brothers John and Ernest ; 13 grandchildren: 7 great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Pastor Johnathon Gascoyne will conduct the funeral service from The Seventh Day Adventist Church, Botwood on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 2 P.M. Interment to follow at The Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery, Botwood. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood. Pallbearers will be her sons, Wilson and Levi Butler, family friends...Grant Hemeon, Herb Eastman, John Francis, Matthew Rasch. Honorary pallbearer will be her brother Earnest Hibbs.
