Obituary of Marie Thompson

Passed away June 29, 2018, peacefully (Elsie) Marie Thompson at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre, Botwood at the age of 87 years. She was predeceased by her husband Jim (James A. Thompson) in 1993 by her daughter-in-law Marion; by her grandchildren: Terri-Lee, Trena and Shannon, Phillip; by her great-grandson Benjamin; by her great-grandaughter Madison and by her parents: George and Mary Stuckless. She leaves to mourn her sons: Lyndon, Junior (Eve), Ronald, Murray (Donna); daughters: Sheila (George) Rowe, Debbie (Stan) Higdon, Cavell (Wayne) Loveless, Brenda (Wilfred) Stuckless. Also her 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; sister: Ruth Rideout; brothers: Allan, Jack, Gerald, Rex, Melvin and Eli and a circle of other relatives and friends. Major Debbie Higdon (assisted by Family Clergy Members) will be conducting the funeral service at The Salvation Army Citadel, Point Leamington on July 3, 2018 with interment at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Point Leamington. Pallbearers are Lyndon Thompson, Junior Thompson, Ronald Thompson, Murray Thompson, Pastor George Rowe, Major Stan Higdon, Major Wayne Loveless and Wilfred Stuckless. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood.
