Obituary of Junior Braye

Passed peacefully away on May 31, 2018 at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor, Junior Roy Braye at the age of 77 years. Mr. Braye retired from Dawes Mechanical after many years of service. He is predeceased by his wife, Marjorie; parents, Uriah and Caroline Braye; brothers, Munden, Ronald and infant brother David; brother-in-law, Wesley Sparkes; and infant niece, Joy Braye. He leaves to mourn his sons, Woodrow (Debby Ivany), and Austin (Nancy); daughters, Valerie Braye (Donnie Beson), and Debbie Noseworthy (Randy Green). Also left to mourn sister, Shirley Sparkes; brothers, Wilmore (Dot), and Don (Maisie); seven grandchildren. nine great-grandchildren, as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

Majors Larry and Judy Goudie will conduct the funeral service from Park Street Citadel on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2pm. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home in Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers are sons, Woodrow and Austion Braye, Glen Eastman, Donnie Beson, Justin Saunders, and Alexander Saunders. Honorary pallbearers are daughters, Valerie Braye and Debbie Noseworthy.
