My mother loved the outdoors, she truly was one of a kind. She was my Dad’s fishing buddy whenever they went fishing you were sure to hear about one of mom’s mishaps when she came home and she wasn’t coming home without the grand catch. Her passion and love was for her summer home in Newman’s Cove where she was at peace with the love of her life of 48 years, Dad. Mom was the one who loved to joke and fool around anytime of the day when she would greet you, you knew there was always a hug and a big kiss coming your way. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends who knew her well. Take care precious mother until we all meet again on the precious and beautiful shore, and we will! Love you always.

Rev. Jeff Blackwood will conduct the funeral service at St. Alban’s Anglican Church on Friday, March 16, 2018 with interment at the Anglican Church Cemetery.
