It is with great sadness the family of Kenneth Arthur Chesley Warford announce his sudden passing, in the presence of his family, at his home in Bishop’s Falls on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the age of 47 years.
He was predeceased by his father Rodger; grandparents: Chesley and Jessie Warford and Arthur and Dulcie Thompson.
He leaves to mourn his son Daniel; mother, Barbara Warford; sister, Tina (Michael) Collins, also his nephew Mikey and niece Megan; and step-daughter Abby and a large circle of aunts and uncles other relatives and friends.
Ken was known as a gentle giant. A considerate, meek and loving man. He had a heart of gold and it was obvious to everyone he met.
Known by many of his friends as “Lard”, Ken loved to laugh. He would always get a kick out of his sister, who liked to play pranks on their Mother and Father.
Ken enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing pool especially playing his poker games with his friends. He was known as one of the best pool players in town. He had a large circle of friends, especially a few close buddies, such as Angus, Bruce and a long time friend Rod, they were all like brothers to him. He loved his morning coffee, and driving around town.
He cared deeply for his family. He had loved and respected his late father dearly, and cherished his mother and sister. But Ken’s strongest love came from his son, Daniel. They were inseparable. Where you would see Ken, Daniel wouldn’t be far away. They enjoyed playing video games and listening to music together; and recently, he bought Daniel his first guitar. He was so proud that his son wanted to play, and will continue to be proud of everything he does. Ken will always be remembered, loved and forever in our hearts.
Family will be accepting visitors on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Hoskins Funeral Home, Bishop’s Falls from 2-4 and 7-9 with burial at a later date.
