Roma Janis Naomi Budgell

Passed away on November 13, 2022, Roma Janis Naomi Budgell at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center, Grand Falls-Windsor.

She was predeceased by her parents Reuben and Violet Budgell; brothers Allen “Rock”, Jerry Budgell, Edward “Spud”, Hubert “Butch”; sister Ruby; sister-in-law Katie; brothers-in-law Hubert Ledrew and Jim Penney.

There were many things that Roma enjoyed daily; phone calls from her daughter Jennifer and grandson Caelan; going for a ride with Ig; crossword puzzles; writing in her journal, which she did every day. She loved going for a good meal of Chinese food with Ig at the Lucky Fortune Restaurant.

Roma was employed with Botwood Cottage Hospital as a RNA for many years, and worked there until a back injury caused an early retirement. During her time there, she made many friends who she liked to keep in touch with. After the passing of her mother, Roma continued to care for her brother Butch until his passing.  She dedicated her days making sure he was well cared for, and taking him to enjoy the things he loved.

She leaves to mourn her beloved “Ig” Edgar Cramm of 40 years; daughter Jennifer Budgell (Craig Heath), grandson Caelan Heath; sisters Teasea (Dael) Bierworth, Lottie Penney; brother John (Edna) Budgell; sister-in-law Valda Budgell; Paul (Judy) Cramm; Tyler (Keri-Lynn) Cramm, Brooklynn (Ryan) Matheson and a large number of nieces, nephews and friends.

A special thank you to Dr. Kirby for the care given to my mom, and to the staff of the Killick Retirement Home, where she resided for the last few years, for thier love, care, and compassion.

Pallbearers will be Caelan Heath, Paul Cramm, Tyler Cramm, Brooklynn Matheson, Elmer Butler and Owen Peyton.
