Surrounded by her family, which were her absolute everything, Laura Hancock passed away peacefully on November 17 at the age of 66. We will be forever grateful for the kindhearted, beautiful life that she shared with us. It is a love that everyone will hold deep in their hearts.
Laura is predeceased by her parents Boyce and Zelda; and her brother Stephen. She leaves to remember her, with warm and beautiful memories, her husband, Wade; her daughter, Jennifer (Doug); her son, Matthew (Brittany); her precious grandchildren, Allix (Reid) and Evan, which she had an indescribable love for. Also left to remember her are her sisters; Christine (Robert), Judy, Margie, and Susan (John), Kim; brothers, Eugene (Sheila), Terry (Tammy), and Trevor; In laws; Ford and Beryl, Brenda, Boyd (Jean), Robert (Penny), Valerie (Roger); and many other close relatives and friends who she all loved so dearly.
Laura lived a wonderful life, surrounding everyone with love and affection wherever she went. She was always known as being the generous, kindhearted person who would do anything for anyone. There truly isn’t a person who knew her that wouldn’t describe her this way - she really was one of a kind. From her 35 year career with the government, her 5 years at Shoppers Drug Mart, she was cherished wherever she went. Her energetic, beautiful soul would fill up a room and she will be missed beyond measure.
Funeral arrangements and services are being entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home. A private, family visitation will be held on Saturday, November 20 from 7:00-9:00pm and the Memorial Service, which is invitation only, will be held on Sunday, November 21 at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at the Botwood Community Cemetery.
