Obituary of Elsie Randell

Passed peacefully away on March 6, 2018, at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Centre, Pastor Elsie Randell at the age of 92 years.

Elsie was born at Williamsport on February 2, 1926 to William and Annie Randell.

In 1945, Elsie became a born-again christian, under her Dad's ministry, at the United Church in Williamsport.

Pastor Elsie entered the ministry with the PAON in 1956 and served at the following communities: Goose Cove, Labrador, Black Island, Northern Arm, Fredericton, Harry's Harbour and Hant's Harbour.

During her relatively brief ministerial service, Pastor Elsie witnessed many decisions for Christ, and miraculous physical healings.

Unfortunately, due to illness, Pastor Elsie had to retire from full-time Gospel work, after fourteen years of dedicated service.

She leaves to mourn her dearest friend Joyce Ledrew; sisters: Beatrice Randell (Raymond), Ida Randell, Elvie Fillier (Neilson); brother, Naaman (Eileen); sister-in-law Myrtle, the Bennett family, a number of nieces and nephews, and a large number of relatives and friends.

Elsie was predeceased by her parents and step-mother, Daisy; sisters: Shirley, Charlotte and Katie; brother, Jermiah (Jerry)  and brother-in-law, Cecil.

Pastor Robert Parsons will conduct the funeral service at Windsor Pentecostal Church on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2 p.m.

Visitation to take place on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9

Funeral service on Saturday, March 10 @ 2 p.m.

Interment at the Windsor Pentecostal Cemetery.

Pastor Elsie's pet saying: "every once in a while, we need to look back and thank God for where he brought us from."
