Passed peacefully away on July 5, 2017 at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor, Edith Hunter at the age of 93 years. She was a member of St. Alban's ACW. She is predecased by her husband, Leslie; daughter-in-law, Pauline; parents, James and Irene Heffern; sisters, Blanche, and Minnie; brothers, Ronald, Arthur, and Baxter. She leaves to mourn, her son, Ronald (Brenda); sisters, Gertie and Mildred; grandson, Trent (Heather); and great-grandchildren, Ethan and Catherine; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends. Edith was also a loving nan to Elizabeth Pike Baker (Richard), Richie and Jordan. Rev. Jeff Blackwood will conduct the funeral service from St. Alban's Anglican Church on Saturday, July 8th, 2017 at 2pm. Interment will follow at St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home in Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers are Trent Hunter, Winston Butt, Leonard Durdle, Derek Hunter, Don Pardy, and Reg Chislett.
No flowers by request, instead donations in Edith's memory can be made to St. Alban's Anglican Church.
