Dad was born on Fogo Island Dec 31, 1928 and lived in Joe Batts Arm. He was orphaned at the age of 10, and he eventually moved to Grand Falls-Windsor to live with his other siblings and families. He met and married his loving, devoted wife of 62 years Isabel and together raised 8 children.
Dad worked as a Molson Delivery Truck driver, owned his own trucking company and is a retired Government of NL employee.
Dad loved two sports: boxing and hockey. He was an avid Montreal Canadians fan! He also loved berry picking, fishing, reading about NL history, a good political discussion and food!
His greatest love was his grand/great grand children; He was so proud of them all!
He’s probably right now contemplating his next meal!
He will be missed by all!
